Jason passed away...way too soon...he was a good buddy...killer drummer and all around funny fuckin' dude. He will be missed. I'm sorry I lost contact with Jason over the years...very sorry. He was a great guy...he came up with the most off the wall shit..he could make something out of nothing...you would laugh for days. I miss him. I have a thing for eyes...and when I'm shooting, especially close...to get as much detail of the face as possible...the eyes must be sharp. I am weird about it. I know that once I set my machine to the gray card and I'm dialed in with my camera settings...the eyes are sharp at 100%...we are ready to rock. This was shot at 200ISO, f/2.5, 1/1000..with an 85mm prime. I rarely shoot at 200ISO but with all the snow and as bright as it was, I thought what the heck. A talented young lady that I had the pleasure to photograph this past summer is climbing the charts. Georgia and her band, The Georgia Preachers made an appearance on Fox8 Cleveland this morning. Also, one of the photos I shot of Georgia this past summer was shown on Fox8 Cleveland. Georgia uses quite of few shots from this session in her promo materials.
