Amy Smith – Actress

This here is Amy…she’s a little kooky.  Her husband Denny is an old guitar player buddy of mine. Denny runs Mobile Web Unit, helps me out with my website and some SEO stuff. You can visit Denny’s site here. Denny hit me up with a text the other day and said “Hey man, can you do some headshots of my wife?…she’s trying out for a role in a movie”. I was like “heck yeah I can”.  I took my gear over to Denny and Amy’s house and set up in their living room. We moved a plant and a couch out of the way and made us a little studio. I think Amy is going to send in the black and whites for the press kit but I just had to post these color shots.  I love them !!!

Here’s a little something straight from Amy…”Always wanted to do it. Why wait until I’m ready to kick the bucket before I start my bucket list? I have become deeply inspired….to the point I was losing sleep at night…..obsessing…..so I contacted some great friends in the acting arena who said go for it…..so I am. Loving movies and studying film in an amateur sense has been a hobby of mine since I can remember. I have re-enacted characters, practiced lines, and tape recorded segments of movies starting when I was a child so I could hear my favorite parts again and again, even after having to return the rental video. Losing myself in movies – going to movies alone to get lost – has been my own personal world and escape for many years.

It is time to get involved. I don’t want to be 70 years old looking back and regretting that I hadn’t.
